Applying for a Grant

There are three methods which you can use to apply for a grant from the Trust.

1. We have recently launched a new online application facility. Please click on the link below to begin the process. As we still need to have a signed paper copy, plus a covering letter, you will also need to print a copy and post it to us, along with any supporting documentation.  Please also keep a copy for your records.  There is a link to print off your completed application at the end of the online form. We will not process your application until we have received the paper copy. Start your online application by clicking here

2. If you have Microsoft Word (version 2003 onwards) and would like to complete the form on your computer, please click on this link to download our application form. When completing the form, please replace the text [type here] with your own answers.  Once you have completed the form, please keep a copy for your records, post a copy to us along with any supporting documentation required and a covering letter.

3. If you would like to print a paper copy of the application form and complete it by hand, please download our PDF form. Once you have completed the form, please keep a copy for your records, post a copy to us along with any supporting documentation required and a covering letter.

For all application methods, it is vitally important that you read our Guidelines for Applicants. Please click the link on the left for our Guidelines.  If you are requesting for any grant to be paid via electronic transfer (BACS), you must send us proof of your bank account details.  This can be a copy of a paying in slip or recent bank statement.  If we do not receive this and your application is successful, we will pay your grant by cheque.

Please note that the Trust prefers to communicate via e-mail to save on postage costs.  We will acknowledge receipt of your application by e-mail and will inform you if your application was unsuccessful by e-mail within a day or two of the meeting date (grant offers will be sent via post).  It is possible that such e-mails may end up going into your spam or junk e-mail folders so please do check these before contacting us.
