The Trust has revised its categories for 2012/2013. There are new funding categories for ‘Forces, Ex-Forces & Emergency Services’ and ‘Employment, Skills & Training’.  Some of the other categories have been amended - we now have 'Animals, Environment & Conservation', 'Crime Prevention, Prison & Addictions' and 'Homelessness & Social Welfare', with the other categories unchanged.  Particular areas on which the Trust would like to focus its support in 2012/13 are: 'Homelessness', 'Employment, Skills & Training' and 'Animals'.

In the first 6 months of 2012/13, the Trust received 245 applications for funding.  Of these, 143 were awarded grants and 101 were unsuccessful.  The average grant this year so far is just over £830 and the success rate is currently 58%.
