At the Trust’s recent Sub Committee Meeting on 16th January, the Trustees awarded 56 grants totalling £73,400. They included:
- £500 to Changing Faces towards skin camouflage volunteers in Devon
- £1,000 to Above & Beyond towards refurbishing a day room on a senior ward in Bristol
- £2,000 to Canine Partners towards their work in Devon
- £500 to Beanstalk towards volunteer reading support in Somerset
- £350 to Sequal Trust to purchase an iPad for a disabled young person in Cornwall
- £5,000 to North Devon Hospice towards a replacement accessible vehicle
- £2,000 to Starlight Children’s Foundation towards their work in the South West
- £1,000 to Tamar View Community Complex towards the purchase of equipment for the day nursery
- £1,000 to RSPB South West towards a bat hibernaculum at RSPB Aylesbeare
- £400 to Seaton & District Music Club towards a music workshop for local school students
- £500 to Filo Project towards volunteer Host training
- £500 to Colyton Grammar School for a drying rack for students’ art works
- £1,000 to South West MS Centre towards replacement reception chairs
- £500 to Devon Link-Up towards the expansion of the Safe Places Scheme for learning disabled people
- £1,000 to Budleigh Salterton Music Festival towards the 2017 Festival
- £1,000 to Estuary League of Friends towards the redevelopment of the Community Hub
- £500 to Mare & Foal Sanctuary towards repairs and new lighting at the yards
- £500 to Porthleven School towards the purchase of ukuleles for class teaching
- £600 to Friends of Ottery Library towards new display boards
