At the Trust’s recent Sub Committee Meeting on 12th June, the Trustees awarded 36 grants totalling £29,600. They included:
- £500 to Mobility Trust towards the cost of a powered motor scooter for a disabled person
- £1,000 to SeeAbility towards the in-house rehabilitation programme in Honiton and Exeter
- £500 to Barnardo’s towards the Somerset Mandala Project
- £1,000 to Home-Start Exeter & East Devon towards the recruitment and training of new volunteers
- £1,000 to Spinal Injuries Association towards the peer support service in the South West
- £1,000 to Encompass Southwest towards a rough sleepers project in North Devon
- £1,500 to Budleigh Salterton Football Club towards repairs to the changing rooms showers
- £500 to Golden-Oldies towards daytime activity sessions at sheltered housing in Exeter
- £500 to St Martin’s C of E Primary£500 t towards forest school activities
- £500 to Living Paintings Trust towards the cost of the postal library service in the South West
- £500 to The Fishermen’s Mission towards the costs of establishing a support hub in Newlyn
