At the Trust’s recent Sub Committee Meeting on 18th September, the Trustees awarded 39 grants totalling £27,250. They included:
- £500 to Meningitis Now for local community support and awareness work in the South West
- £500 to Huntington’s Disease Association towards the salary costs of the Specialist Advisory Service in Devon
- £500 to National Gulf Veterans & Families Association towards a respite break for veterans from Plymouth
- £500 to Headway Plymouth for the purchase of an iPad
- £500 to Exeter Phoenix towards the expansion of the Freefall youth arts group
- £1,000 to Chagford Swimming Pool towards a water treatment plant system
- £1,000 to Snowdon Trust towards grants to disabled students in Devon
- £500 to Old Heathcoat School Community Centre for the purchase of sound boards
- £1,000 to Arts Society Budleigh Salterton for the Budding Creativity project
- £500 to National Autistic Society towards salary and running costs of the West Cornwall branch
- £500 to St David’s Hill Playgroup towards replacement flooring
- £1,000 to ExeAcess towards an all-terrain scooter
