At the Trust’s recent Sub Committee Meeting in July, the Trustees awarded 37 grants totalling £36,469.  They included:

 

  • £500 to Exeter Phoenix towards arts groups for young people and young learning disabled adults
  • £1,000 to Barnstaple Pilot Gig Club towards the cost of re-roofing the Clubhouse and Watersports Centre
  • £2,000 to Home-Start Exeter & East Devon towards the cost of developing the service in Honiton and surrounding rural areas
  • £1,000 to Flicka Foundation towards veterinary costs
  • £800 to Veterans With Dogs towards training equipment for puppy socialisers
  • £2,000 to Exeter Personal Support Unit towards the running costs of the service
  • £1,000 to Exbourne Village Hall towards damp repair works to the hall
  • £1,000 to Willand Health & Community Centre towards fitting out a kitchen
  • £1,000 to Sciencedipity towards a free family science event in North Devon in Spring 2020
  • £500 to Devon Guild of Craftsmen towards the ‘Freehand’ programme in schools and communities
  • £1,000 to Brain Tumour Support towards the costs of the Exeter support group
  • £1,000 to Sense towards the Saturday Club in Exeter
  • £1,000 to Changing Tunes towards a music programme at HMP Exeter and work with local ex-prisoners
  • £2,000 to Designability towards the Wizzybug Loan Scheme in the South West
