At the Trust’s recent Sub Committee Meeting in November, the Trustees awarded 35 grants totalling £33,800.  They included:

 

  • £500 to Revitalise for respite breaks for disabled people and their carers from Devon
  • £500 to Treverbyn Community Hall for improvements to the pathway outside the building
  • £500 to Citizens Advice South Hams to help low income families save money through energy efficiency/lower tarriffs
  • £1,000 to Listening Books towards the subsidised audiobook service for print-impaired people in the South West
  • £1,000 to National Autistic Society towards the running costs of the Cornwall Branch
  • £1,000 to Cerebral Palsy Sport towards a SportStart Fun programme in Somerset
  • £500 to Willow Foundation towards Special Days for seriously ill young people from Exeter & East Devon
  • £1,000 to Lifeworks Charity towards a specialist youth club for young people with learning disabilities
  • £1,000 to Go North Devon towards the Shopmobility service
  • £1,000 to Dogs for Good towards providing support for families with an autistic child in Exeter
  • £500 to Bradninch Cricket Club towards replacement windows and doors for the clubhouse
