At the Trust’s recent Sub Committee Meeting in September, the Trustees awarded 33 grants totalling £35,212.  They included:

 

  • £2,000 to Newton Poppleford Playing Field Foundation towards improvements to the Pavilion
  • £925 to Gilead Foundations Charity towards the purchase of a poly tunnel
  • £1,000 to Plymouth Highbury Trust towards the expansion of the volunteer development programme
  • £1,000 to Willow Foundation towards the costs of providing Special Days for seriously ill young people in Exeter & East Devon
  • £1,000 to National Literacy Trust towards the Early Words Together programme in Torbay
  • £1,300 to Families in Grief to support children in bereaved families
  • £1,000 to National Autistic Society towards the costs of the Cornwall Branch
  • £1,000 to Life Education Wessex towards the refurbishment of a mobile classroom
  • £1,000 to FoodCycle towards the Exeter project
  • £2,000 to Macmillan Cancer Support towards the Macmillan Grants programme in Devon
  • £2,000 to Honiton 729 Club towards access improvements to the charity’s premises
  • £1,000 to Ronald McDonald House Bristol towards running costs
  • £500 to New Bridge Foundation towards the costs of the Exeter volunteer group
  • £1,000 to Families for Children Trust towards supportive peer mentoring for adopters
