The Norman Family Charitable Trust is celebrating recently reaching 3 key milestones:
- 40 years of grant making,
- £9m given away
- 10,000 grants awarded
The current Trustees have chosen to commemorate these achievements by creating a one-off grant fund. THE NORMAN TRUST 40 FUND will be giving away 4 x £10,000 grants. The criteria for this fund is wide-ranging to encourage small local not-for-profit groups who may not otherwise have the opportunity to bid for this size grant. Beneficiaries must reside in postcodes EX1- 15 or EX24.
Applications are welcomed from any voluntary organisations of any size, from small sports groups to larger registered charities. The grant could be used for a special project, or for core costs. The only requirements are that the organisation must be able to demonstrate that it really needs financial help, and then if successful, report on how the grant was spent.
